Hello everyone please I would like to confirm when one is given a PFL and the final submission date is for instance July 8….can she submit the requested documents on that said last day or it has to be latest july 7…..

basically my question is can she submit during the day of july 8 or it becomes late
Example —- july 8 12.00am it becomes late or she can submit during the day of july 8.

I think everyone struggles with this. It's one of those nuisances of a language that leaves alot of grey areas up for interpretation. For some it might include the date and for others it might mean before. To me I always interpret it as before the date so I would submit in your scenario latest July 7th 11:59pm.

This purely my opinion and in no way factually correct.

If it says submit it by July 8, then July 8 is the last day . 9th would be late , 7th one day earlier than the 8th.
There’s no ambiguity, grey area
