Problem with TRV please help! I don't know what to do now

Hi,
I'm an international student studying in the U.S. I'm going back to my country, Vietnam, this summer and the plane ticket i got requires transit via Vancouver Intl Airport in Canada. I applied for TRV but I had problems with getting my biometrics. Now it's 2 weeks before the flight and I don't have TRV. What should I do? Can I still board the plane to Vancouver and expect they will let me apply for TRV once I land? Please, any ideas would help. I really want to go home.

You need an approved TRV in your passport to board the airplane to Vancouver. You can't get a TRV on landing. If you don't have a TRV at this point I would re-book your flight to avoid a connection through Canada.
