My spouse worked as a researcher for 14 months (November 2014 to January 2016). Her NOC is fine and it was a full-time paid work.
The problem is:
1. She did not file income tax for November 14- March 15 (first 5 months) stretch of job because her total income was not taxable.
2. Her salary for last 3 months of job was delayed for 6 months because of late release of research grants. So her income tax return for year 2015-16 did not count last three months of salary.
Overall, the income tax statement will only be available for 6 months of work.
Will she need to write an LOE explaining the situation?
She has her authentic joining and relieving letters and her certificate of experience is pretty nice too.
