Problem with Client ID

Hello

I am a full-time student at SAIT, Calgary. I would like to renew online my off-campus work permit.

My problem
1. I created a My CIC GCKey account.
2. I complete the short questionnaire to generate my personal checklist.
3. I write my information for required EVN number. I did try many times.

In required EVN form, I pay attention to introduction how to put information, but it shown "We were not able to identify you using the information you provide. Try entering your information again"

What I tried
1. I sign in my old GCKey account which I renew student visa last year.
2. I created a new GCKey account.
3. I tried to sign in by partner login

Where I went
1. I went workshop with international centre for helping, but they do not know what happen too.
2. I went to cic downtown Calgary, they just gave me contact information.
3. I call 1 888 242 2100, but it not help.
4. I sent email to cic, they gave me the links but cannot help.

My question are
1. How can I fix it
2. Where can help me

1. Contact DIR at your school, the only authority who deal with EVN verification.

I went to DIR at school and go all process with them, but they don't know what happen too.

1. On MyCIC welcome page, under 'What would you like to do today'? Select second option 'OCWP- Request for an EVN verification'? Once you enter the request for EVN verification, CIC will send you an email confirming the EVN eligibility verification, only then you can proceed further.


OR, spend your time on 7, 9 & 10 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/guide-dir.asp

I have the same error message after entering the client ID. Did you get a solution yet?

In applying online,Is EVN needed before studying? when will you submit EVN?

You only need EVN to apply off-campus work permit.
