Problem to upload IMM5257 online

Hello,

I have a problem to upload IMM 5257 online. I've filled out all highlighted fields and validated it, but when upload online it gives me this error:

Validation error: You have not completed the mandatory fields or you have not completed them correctly. Please make corrections where indicated.

Error Description:

Document is not a valid PDF file

Could anyone tell me where is the problem?

I would suggest you try other browsers preferably Google chrome

Thanks for reply but it didn't work on Chrome also. Now it gives:

Validation error: You have not completed the mandatory fields or you have not completed them correctly. Please make corrections where indicated.
Error Description: The version of the document submitted is no longer accepted

Any ideas?

where you able to generate a bar code after validation? are you using the form IMM5257 (11-2013)?

make sure dates are all correct specifically the date field in *details of visit to canada* is greater than or equal to today's date (Validation date)

assuming everything is ok, just keep trying. the online portal is not the best solution as it is a bit problematic

Hi,

Please make sure the version of your form is the latest one, and remember to validate your form and generate the barcode before you submit online.

You need to download the adobe.

Make sure you answer all the question do not leave any gap when you click the validate they turn red you need to write on that red part

Thank you so much for all your replies.

I am using "IMM5257(11-2013) E Application for temporary visa" Form, downloaded from CIC page

I fill our all highlighted fields (it doesn't let me write down wrong date). At the End I validate the form. It gives 5 bar codes. And when I upload that form it gives me above Validation Errors.

I am really not sure what is the issue.

And one more thing: Do I need to fill out IMM5257B Schedule 1 application also?

Hi,

Can you download the form from the website again, and then complete it all over again and then submit it?

Did you upload the wrong form to the wrong section? Double check all your entries. Any over lapping dates or whatever?

I am encoutering the exact same problem, I am driving myself crazy!!! Please someone can find a solution. Normally when you validate the application, then it is filled out correctly, why it keeps showing the error after y are trying to upload it.

I have exactly the same problem. The form shows no errors, generates a valid .pdf with barcodes, but cannot be uploaded.
I've checked it multiple times...

Error is:

Validation error: You have not completed the mandatory fields or you have not completed them correctly. Please make corrections where indicated.

Note that there is no error description!

(note that it is Document Name - IMM5710 Application (required)... I'm trying to upload a IMM5710E )

Hi, I experienced exactly the same problem. The file I use is the latest version and I have no problem to validate it to get the bar codes. The problem is solved after I cleared the caches and cookies and other IE histories.
I hope this helps.

I have had this same problem when i used Firefox. IE works fine.
