This forum and even the people i knew who applied in a rush seems to be realizing that they have missed many information or made minor or silly mistakes in submitting. I wonder how CIC will pick up on that.

Same with me, even though I wasn't rushing. After speaking to two CIC Call Centre agents (out of paranoia), they informed me that the application would only get returned if there's something fundamentally wrong with it.

At what point of the process, the applicants can somewhat be relaxed that the application is complete (once we receive AOR by email)?

AOR means documents are complete and its suitable for processing

Processing means they are going through the documents line by line to ensure what you told is true and getting your police clearance and CBSA records.

Then the test and interview, to personally verify you can speak English, you know about Canada and what you told on the application is true.

Then the oath.

I personally will feel relieved when the oath is completed.
