Well Mississauga received our application for outland sponsorship Oct 17th - today is Nov. 28th so were obviously over the processing times for receiving our SA. Ive received 2 emails from immigration BOTH saying they received our app. Whats up with this? Has anyone else had this happen? Getting a little worried here...

I just read through your past posts. If I'm not mistaken, you were on social assistance / welfare earlier this year. If that's correct, then the Mississauga stage may be taking a bit longer in your case while they verify that you are no longer on social assistance (since this is a condition for qualifying as a sponsor).

You can call 1-888-242-2100 if you are in Canada. Or you can look on your ecas. Using your UCI number from your AOR.

Mine was a little late too so I called and they told me then I was approved and that they had sent me and email (which I never got). I ended up getting a letter in the mail and that's why it took so long.

Yeah, i did take assistance for a few months so maybe thats the hold up ughh. I checked the website and it just says application received. I called the call center and they dont know much either, patience is a virtue but its driving me crazy.
