Private sponsored refugee awaiting medical request

Good day all,

Just any input about receiving medical request after the interview. How long does it take to receive them? File status changed to In process , does it mean that the background check is being done at this stage? is there anyone in the private sponsored refugee category who is a step ahead to provide us with more information about the timeline?

Though we are not step ahead rather step behind but i think yeah your background checking might have begun even before the interview during the review of your case by the visa officer, if you are concern about the police check it will come later i mean after medicals before visa grants..
you mentioned (file status changed to in process) bro what was your status before in process? was it (application received )or something else..

I have similar case ..... I had been called for medical examinations after interview by 3 months .... I am still waiting for processing to be finished ...it passed 9 months after medical examinations right now and yes background check starts directly after interview.
