Private-public institutes- eligibility for PGWP

I have applied for Fleming college Toronto for May 2024 intake. Have already submitted visa documents. Since it’s a private-public partnership institute will this affect to my PGWP in the future?

Yea you won't be eligible, unless it's post-grad studies.

Do you have an approved study permit? If not, and it is refused then apply to a public DLI. If approved, you are fine. Chances start as of Sept. 1.

I have submitted the visa documents and still waiting for a decision. Hope the students who are starting their study program for May intake 2024 won’t be affected from the rule.

So you need to wait to see if your visa is even approved with this new rule. If refused, then go to a public only DLI.
