Hi.
I will land in a few days in toronto. I am a healthy individual and has no pre-existing condition whatsoever. I am just worried that due to weather adjustment when i arrive (especially coming fall and winter), i might get sick before OHIP becomes available by end of November for myself.
I am immigrating alone and does not have a family or relatives in canada.
I've been checking prices online and have found SRMRM with $100,000 coverage, $0 deductible with price of $200. Is it worth buying? Anyone who has experienced buying online insurance?
Do i really need to purchase private insurance prior to landing or it can wait after i land? Thanks!
