Prioritize visitor Visa application for parent

Hello Team,

I am a permanent resident of Canada.

I applied for supervisa(on 1st Nov 2020) for my mother after my father passed away recently.
She lives in India alone currently and we want to invite her to Canada ASAP, as it's very difficult to manage everything on her own during this COVID pandemic.
Looking at the processing time for super visa from India(329 days), it seems it might take some time.

While going through CIC website I noticed that if I need to prioritize my application for visitor visa, I need to specify
visitor visa with reason as COVID-19 in application form.

However I don't see that option for supervisa, is there a way for prioritizing super visa.

Another question I have is if I apply for visitor visa with reason as COVID-19 as a separate application (with super visa application in progress)
will it interfere with existing supervisa application, or is there any problem it might cause ?

If there is a better option for prioritizing visitor visa application for mother, please let us know.

Has your mother ever done biometrics?

Yes, she has valid bio-metrics till 2029. To give you some background, she had valid supervisa till june 2019. Her passport expired in june 2019 and got re-newed, so needed to re-apply.

If she already has done her biometrics that removes one big barrier.

You can say covid 19 but you are still looking at a waiting period. She will also need to do another medical.
