My file went to in process December 2012.

Still waiting for PPR.

Is there anything we can do to make CIC to speed up our application?
It's really ridiculous that they are taking sooooooooooo long time to process our application where applicants even from February 2013 have already received their PR. :'(

I am just wondering what is the right way to apply for GCMS notes? I used ATIP online service and applied under Privacy Act and request Electronic files. There is no fee associated with this as I am currently living in Canada. Is this the right way?

Previously I applied under Access to Information Act and asked for Physical files and paied $5. But the files were just the copies of all the documents I have sent to CIC and no indication of status of my application.

I would be grateful if someone clarify this to me.

I emailed Cic a week ago inquiring the status of my application and they replied

"please provide me with you current address, email, and your current phone number to update your file."
