Principle applicant-do I need to send academic certificates to VO?

Hi All,

Could you please advise me,as a principle applicant,do I have to send the VO my academic certified documents (my higher secondary/degree cerificate). I am asking because in my certificate i have a different surname. I have checked the checklist,but have not found anywhere they are asking for academic documents to be sent by the sponsored person.

the principal applicant does not need to submit any academic documents.
