Hi,
I am looking to sponsor my orphan nephew who is currently less than 18 years old. I am currently gathering the supporting documents and had 2 questions, as listed below, regarding the signature on CIC forms.
1. Since he is currently less than 18, does a guardian instead sign in his place or he can do it himself? Note that he is currently living with my brother's family.
2. If a guardian is required to sign instead, does CIC need proof of guardianship as well (affidavit, court order or something) or can it be simply an "assumed" guardianship and CIC doesn't require anything from the guardian?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
