Hello everyone,

Looking to see if anyone can assist with this.

I have applied for visitor status for my spouse on June 4th, 2021 on the new portal with "other-covid 19" steps. But it is July 13 and I have got no response. Please advise how to request them to speed up the process? I have already sent a web form today requesting in speeding up the process.

Note: I already have CEC-ITA from June 2021 last week and collecting my documents for submission.

Please advise if any email or message should be sent.
What is this new portal? can you share the link and details I want to apply for my daughter.

Congrats. Can you please tell us your NOC code?

I would suggest that you raise a webform as sometimes it can help you get credentials quickly. It happened with a friend of mine who got his credentials 5 days after he raised webform. Not sure whether it was because of web form that they acted but still give it a try.

I replied to that email stating my spouse status is inactive in Canada. My spouse also replied the same. I received credentials 3 days after that.

How did your spouse got her passport stamped? Did she apply any other visa? Which country is your spouse applying from?

@skat2111 She got a PPR so she got a visa. She is in Pakistan.

Country where you are applying from? Check processing time for it as well. I think currently they are not processing visitor visa application until travel restrictions are lifted.
I am applying from Pakistan, but I have applied under Covid-19 exemption TRV which I have seen many people getting approved in less than a month.
