I don't understand what IRCC want! They are not processing files with outland dependants, and on top of that, they are not even approving their Travel exemption (Tried more than 6 times). I have 20 months old daughter and I haven't seen her for 20 months. Is there a way I can bring my family to Canada while we are waiting for the final decision to be made on our PR application? @legalfalcon do you have any idea why are they being so difficult?

It is the Public Health Canada's guidelines and not IRCC.

However, if you have a valid visa you can travel.

Getting a travel exemption for family members of a TRV is discretionary.

Did someone try to ask for help a member of parliament? The situation with outland dependents is very tough and controversial.
Is it worth your time and effort or he/she can't do anything?

We did try. He assigned a caseworker for us and she tried pushing it from her side. Our application moved to the final stage all thanks to her but she said she can't do anything more on it be because when they issue the final decision is upto them and can't be influenced. Again idk if this is just because we are in the inland-outland category.

Yea I read her article. I honestly dont know what to do anymore. I'll actually go crazy at this rate.

That's unfair and what is even more devastating that IRCC doesn't want to mention it clearly!!
There is no rule or council order with recommendations to put on hold applications with overseas applicants.
IF they have to do it then they have to issue a special order regarding this!

But I have seen many TRV holders getting travel exemption approved.
