@Yubsco Did your wife got portal email/login or copr yet?

@nurzohra Did you got a portal email/login or copr yet?

My outland spouse got her visa stamped today on her passport. Validity is only less than 6 months for some reason.
Wow.. congratulations. She has not gotten anything yet. We are still hoping.

So after you got your CoPR was a different letter sent for your spouse to submit the Passport? In my case, I was the only one that got a CoPR but my wife has been waiting for PPR since March 14th, 2021. Also in my case, the CoPR was never addressed to the dependent so its kinda confusing
I just feel IRCC don't really have a particular format for PPR mail. On the mail they sent, I was told not to submit my passport till when my wife has gotten a PR.. but towards the end of the mail I saw where they wrote now that you have gotten a COPR your local office will send you the virtual landing papers soon. So what I did was to just go ahead to submit my passport.

There is a higher probability that they will. I was in an almost similar situation as I said before, my dependent had to come to the US before we were issued PPR and CoPR. All the best.
Hi. My family coming to US next week. As you told me that your dependents have come to US and then you're got PPR and COPR. Did you raise webform to inform they're in US?

1. As soon as you receive a COPR, you become a PR.

2. Since you are a PR, your spouse is exempt from travel restrictions and can travel to Canada if your spouse has a visa. If not, then you will have to wait until IRCC issues one. Your spouse will need a PR visa and COPR.

Thank you @legalfalcon

One more thing, I still have the same message "we are processing your application" despite the fact that I am a PR and have eCOPR. Is it normal?

1. How did you spouse get her passport request letter? Did you contact IRCC before this?
2. Did your spouse receive her COPR with her passport? As I understand, the visa office has to stamp a PR visa in the passport and send NOT signed COPR which will be validated/signed during the landing procedure.

I think if your spouse and you are getting portal credentials, IRCC assumes you both are inside Canada. It happens if you both have status (any kind of permits) in Canada. But the problem is people with status in Canada not always have a valid visa to enter Canada.

@Nick_1919

1 - I received PPR and she went to her local visa office and submitted her passport. I already told them that I am in Canada.
2 - She has already received her visa stamped passport along with unsigned COPR.

I have not received anything yet. She never visited Canada before.

Did you receive PPR through Confirmation portal or download from your CIC account? If I understand correctly, receiving PPR is a first part of a landing process

@legalfalcon Please help me.

Today I was denied Port of entry at ambassador bridge Michigan. I had a Valid visitor visa and travel exemption letter. My wife is in Canada and is on a work permit. Our express entry profile AOR 10 Jan 2020 and received the portal email week ago asking if both people are inside Canada. I live in the US. I stated that I want to live with my wife and that is the purpose of my visit. I was denied entry on the quarantine act. How long will it take to get PPR to COPR from portal email?
