I have requested status of my application through local MP office.

We can provide you with the following details about the status of the applicant’s submission for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program under EXXXXX.

* The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney (CIO), Nova Scotia on December 5, 2019.
* The CIO is has concluded reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the applicant and their family members meet the eligibility requirements<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-express.asp> under the class for which they have applied.
* the eligibility requirements assessment was finalized on June 1, 2020.
* The medical examination results have expired for the three (3) applicants. The office is requesting an internal extension to the medical results validity.
* The criminality verifications are currently valid for the adult applicants.
* The security verifications are currently valid for the adult applicants.

We wish to mention that at this point, permanent resident applicants must have all family members available in Canada at the same time, to complete the permanent residence confirmation.

Based on the above information , first we have to apply visitor visa for family. Looks like we have to wait for a long time to bring the family to Canada.

If VFS is open and our dependents can stamp their passport in LVO means, IRCC can approve our PR and send PPR letter to our dependents. Here, we don't need Visitor Visa for them. Confused

I am residing in Toronto and for every region there will be a Member of Parliament(MP) to resolve any issues related to Immigration and other issues. As a temporary resident, we can contact MP office about our status of PR application and after that they will contact IRCC and get reply direct from IRCC officer.

Thank you !!. In this case, even if we are applying Visitor Visa for them, how our dependents passports will be stamped in our country? VFS are closed in India right now. If VFS is open and our dependents can stamp their passport in LVO means, IRCC can approve our PR and send PPR letter to our dependents. Here, we don't need Visitor Visa for them. Confused

To be frank, we don't need to apply visitor visa for dependents and also we can save $100 for applicant. As per my guess, they will pause to issue PPR for PR applicants and they may allow to issue TRV.

So I got reply today for travel authorization letter that I applied for my husband
He already has visitor visa
I am on pgwp and my pr application is in process

They rejected it saying reason is non discretionary

So, based on your reply they will give authorization to only essential workers. I don't know what is the meaning of family reunification.

Guys, I called IRCC this morning and the agent said to me it seems that IRCC didn't know my kid is not here in Canada (actuall he is). The agent advised me to do the webform to inform IRCC
I am surprised with this news.
(my kid has a visa, but he never entered the country- based on the passport)

How come IRCC make that assumption? How do they know that your dependent is outside or inside?

How do you inform IRCC in your application with that info (outland dependent)?

You can google it to find out the nearest MP office to your location and MP office is different for regions like east york, Mississauga , Brampton etc.. Time period will be 10 days.

Applied after that announcement of IRCC to reunite with my husband but got a refusal stating that officer not satisfied with the PURPOSE of visit. They refused me on the same ground as new Oct 8 announcement allowed. To reunite with my husband is not right purpose of visit. But why were those exemptions for? why was this IRCC declaration about family reunification if they are not intended to let families reunite.

I have applied TRV for dependents(wife and kid) on 02-Nov-20. Let's wait for the result. Could you please provide timelines for TRV.

i have had TRV refusals before and aware how numerous officers reasons to reject can be. That time I was ready and he didnt find any pretext but the cruelest one - purpose

Country of applying Serbia (16 days processing time for their embassy)

Sent a complaint to IRCC & mendicino. Don't believe it helps but still
