Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Hi All,

I have been a silent reader of this forum but decided to create a post.

I am an Inland Principal Applicant, AOR Jan 11, 2020 (CEC Class). I have a dependent child who is overseas. My application is pending for over 6 months now. The VAC office for the country where my dependent resides would be Turkey which is open with limited services as of July 8th, 2020.

Not sure if the delay is caused because of dependent being outside of Canada, or if my application has issues itself..

I was wondering if anyone is in a similar situation and got their COPR yet..

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am also in the same boat but in my case the primary applicant is Outland and dependent is in Inland and yet to receive PPR
My AOR was in sept 2020

You mean to say aug 8 , 2020 i think. It should be fine attaching the same i have seen post in fb group doing the same but still u can confirm by calling ircc.

My wife was outland when I applied on 11th March 2021. She came to Canada on SOWP in April 2021 and I updated IRCC right away but still haven't got decision on our application. Has anyone been through a similar situation? Is their system still considering her an outland?

Hi, Has anyone received IMM1017E Medical form for their Outland spouse recently? Is this a remedical request?

My husband who is outland got IMM1017E medical request got it done last week. I am also waiting.All stages passed.
His earlier medical will expire on 20 aug 2021

This is the same group even my file is under processing. Everything got passed in Feb 2021. No updates after that.

My husband who is outland got IMM1017E medical request got it done last week. I am also waiting.All stages passed.
His earlier medical will expire on 20 aug 2021

Guys.. Had to reply to portal email 3 times. Finally got credentials today afternoon. Will submit the picture today.
Peopl who got “ Can’t finalize your application due to dependent overseas” got this reply before credentials or after ? Just wanted to check how many hurdles I need to jump

When you got access to the PR confirmation portal it is all good now. Why they will you access it when they cant finalize your application. It doesn't make any sense. “ Can’t finalize your application due to dependent overseas” is a thing of the past now. Move on now buddy!

I have also written a letter to my MP after talking with Tajindertj.....hopefully I will get some reply soon... also now I think all this talks about eligibility criminality and security being passed before getting confirmation is bs. he got it and his criminality is still in progress and security not started. same is my case... so hoping hoping....

Is your spouse’s medical updated in the portal? Did you Inform IRCC post medical via webform? Also at the time of medical do we need to get this imm1017 form filled by the doc and upload the same in our profile??
