Principal Applicant Education Details - FSW

Hi,

I need assistance in filling the Principal Applicant Education details under Schedule A Point 7. Education section.

As i have completed my schooling and graduation and post graduation in India, need to know map it with expected levels of experience in application form.

Need to know what schooling grades comes under Elementary/Primary school and Secondary/high school. Similar for University College. Also, where should I mention the Post Graduate Diploma. In my case following are details as is case in India

Schooling College University Post Graduate Diploma
Grade(1-10) Grade (11 - 12) Grade (13 - 15)
10 yrs 2 yrs 3 yrs 1 yr

According to the school education in most of Indian states: Total 12 years education consists of 12 grade (classes) levels. These are:

Elementary:
1st class: at 6 years of age.
2nd class: 7 years "
3rd class: 8 years "
4th class: 9 years ""

Primary:
5th class: 10 years ""
6th class: 11 years ""
7th class: 12 years ""
8th class: 13 years "

Secondary/Higher Secondary (High School)

9th class: 14 years of age
10th class: 15 years ""
11th class: 16 years ""
12th class: 17 years ""

(Not to be counted: Kindergarten: nursery - 3 years, Lower Kindergarten (LKG) -4 years, Upper Kindergarten )(UKG) - 5 years.

University : graduation :3 or 4 years according to the course

Masters degree ( Post graduation ) : two years

So, as per the details above:

Elementary/Primary School : 8 Years
Secondary/High School : 4 Years

What is I appeared for an improvement examination for my Secondary Course. I had passed my Secondary examination in 1st attempt but the marks scored for 2 of the subjects where low so I applied to take those exams to improve the scores, for which i did not attend any institution but did self study to write the exam a year later with the juniour batch. During this time I was not allowed to take any course in any educational institute or the new scores would be inapplicable.

Will this make my Secondary/High School duration as 5 years? or that 5th year will be considered a gap year?
