Can you also paste your write up in your EOI (why prince edward island) so that we could all learn.

Hi Folks,

I am new to this thread. In my case, my spouse is primary applicant with NOC 0111. We have got the EE profile with CRS 411. My WES and IELTS is still not accounted in that score. Though, we are waiting for OINP, but we would like to go for the PEI PNP. How much time does it take to get the PNP from PEI for NOC job code 0111?

She is a finance manager and I am information security professional. Are there suitable opportunities as per our profile?

Please provide some guidance.

Thank you,
Pawshi

Hi all,

Regarding the NOCs that more likely seem to be receiving a nomination from PEI, looks like IT is leading the way.

Since the PEI EOI is linked to the EE profile, does the NOC of the principal applicant's spouse (if it was IT or whatever) raises the stakes for being nominated by PEI?

I wish you all good luck.

Thank you,
Hattem

webbman90 , a_mabrouk ,

I think your resume is the key to getting an invitation to apply more than anything else.
The province stresses on the employability factor more than anything else. I considered this a job application and highlighted my major achievements in the positions I held over past ten years. It also helped that more than the noc , the domain I work with is in demand ; not only in pei but globally.

Why pei required a lot of research about the companies in pei , work culture, job offers , hobbies , friends and family in pei etc ....but it's definitely secondary in my view

Did u sent ur resume with eoi? I think their requirement is only eoi form

Yes I sent my resume with EOI.
I think it made all the difference.

I sent my EOI on 15 Feb - NOC 2174, i didn't send my CV as it was written in their guide that it wasn't necessary.
And i have not yet received an answer :(

On 18 Feb, i just sent an email asking if the PNP was still open and they replied on 26 Feb saying it is open.

So it has been 2 months already from my EOI and nothing... so sad... :'(

I have 7 years Java developer experience (5 years considering the "year round down" as per their score rule), i know they are in need of 2174 almost everywhere, yet, they didn't give me a chance.
