My father tried twice for a canadian PR application.Once in 2002, the application was refused due to lack of documents in work experience section.Secondly in 2008, the application was REFUNDED( not refused) because the job applied for had reached its cap for that year.
In both the cases I was a dependant and was under the age of 18 years in both the applications.
Now i am applying under spp in 2-3 days. Will my dad's pervious refusal in PR application affect my student permit. Also there is a column in the student questionare form in which it is asked
1.)Have you ever applied for any Canadian visas ( For e.g Permanent Resident, Temporary Resident (visitor, worker or student), Tempory Resident permit)
2.) Have you ever been refused any kind of visa travel to Canada
Now If my father was the main applicant and I was a dependent, would I have to answer to both the above questions as ''yes'' or answer as ''no'' as I was a dependent not the main applicant.
As the embassy has an integrated system so my passport no. and name might flash up in their system I am confused and worried too. Kindly help .
