Previous visitor visa after pr approval

Hi all, I got my copr waiting for pr card. what happens to previous visitor visa after getting my copr. If I go out of canada without PR card, can I travel back in to canada with that visitor visa. Please let me know

Visitor visa is canceled once you become a PR.

You need either a valid PR card or a PR Travel Document to fly back to Canada.
