Previous travel documents (Question)

Hi everyone,

I have a question and I would appreciate if someone could help me out. When it comes to travel documents during the 5 years eligibility period, am I supposed to include the expired Passport which was falling under this period even if I wasn’t a PR at that time? I became PR on December 18, 2019. My eligibility period starts on December 26, 2017. And my actual passport was issued in February, 2019.

Sorry if this question has been asked already.

Please advise. Thanks

It's better to include it if it falls within the 5-year period. If you apply without, it may increase the processing time because they will ask you for it.

Hi there, Yes. All travel document you have (had). In my case, the officer asked 10 years of my travel document and I gave her all I got from 2012-2022 and she made the decision once I gave her that. The idea is that they wanna make sure that your Physical presence requirement is met. Give all your travel document to them so there's no doubt in their mind. :) good luck!
