Pretoria Timelines

Hey everyone, I am just starting the Visa process. Actually I sent My application to Mississauga on August 4, 2011. My wife is Zambian and the application will be sent to Pretoria after I am approved as a sponsor.

I was wondering if there are other people going the the family class sponsorship (for spouse) whose application will be going through Pretoria? I would love to know your timelines so far and what country the sponsered person is from. I want to see how encouraging it is.....

Hi! I'm going through pretoria and there's a pretoria thread (plug into your search "applications processed in Pretoria"). A lot of people on that thread have very promising timelines. My husband and I were approved in Miss on May 18, and our application was received in pretoria June 2, and we are now getting antsy. No AOR, no news about an interview at all.

But if things go well, it seems to take 6months - 9 months or so althought the website says 18months and there are people who's applications take that long.

Hopefully it doesn't take the full 18 months for us...I want to be with my wife so badly....I'll check out that thread ;D
