Hello Pretoria applicants,

Sorry for the long absence. My NOC is 4121, I am an SA citizen and resident. Initial appl to CIO; March 2010, First aor: May 2010. Full docs PTA CHC; July 2010, 2nd AOR August 2010. Ecas; Received by VO.
I can't believe people like and Cut and Mak who submitted soo looong ago are yet ot receive their med request!! It seems it was much faster for last year's applicants based on the postings on sacanada.org, why have they slowed down this year?

! CHC did say in the 2nd AOR I received not to contact them between 9 to 12 months after submission of full docs. By the way, I also received about 12 stickers with barcodes + my new Imm file no; does anyone know what they are supposed to be used for?

I don't know what does that mean but i also got the same. I received my AOR from pretoria CHC in june dated 27-may. they wrote if i will not hear anything from them by 16th august I should contact feel free to contact them. But no reply.
god knows what is happening? now in your case they r saying 9-12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it mean waiting time is increasing.

Yes the waiting period seems to have increased, in fact just I just read on SACANADA about someone who submitted her medicals in March 2010 and was asked to contact CHC in 6 wks if she didn't hear anything; she is still waiting for PPR!

Hi Guys

as soon as I hear from Pretoria I will let u all know, my Lawyer suggested that I wait for Pretoria to contact me.
My guess is the processing time of 30% in 6 months, 50% in 7 months and 70%&80% in 9 months is when they start processing.
and no matter how hard it is but just start counting from the date of second AOR. and my sec. AOR was on the 01 Feb. 2010. which makes it 9 months next month and then after that I will officially Go! Nuts!

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! today is the day the CIO tranfer my file to Pretoria and guess what my Ecas changed to in process it states that my file has been reviewed and started processing on the 14 September2010. now time is 1:55AM in Alberta Canada

Good to see some movement at Pta VO.
Here are my details. App received by CIO 26-Mar-10. First AOR 1-Jun-10. Full docs delivered to Pta VO 7-Jul-10. 2nd Aor recvd in Aug dated 30-Jul-10, with msg 'Do not contact in next 9-12 mths'. Ecas status is 'Received by VO'. I am an SA citizen and resident. My NOCs are 3233 and 3152.
