Please can someone help :'( ! I am almost late for the ongoing FSW, and provincial nomination programmes. I am considering the express entry starting from 1st january 2015, but feel that the process will be very stringent. What will be the difference between the express and the ongoing ones. What do I start doing to get optimally prepared for the express EOI starting in 2015.

My details are as follows;

I have more than three years working experience as a petroleum engineer and aerospace engineer (Regulated professions), I have observed that these NOcs have been exhausted for a very long time. I am currently being considered as a research fellow in one of the UK universities, on finishing my phd in two weeks time. I have been teaching as part of my duties in the training school of the organization in my home country. My current interest is becoming an academic and lecturer! How do I go about it. Please I need advice.N :).

while Browsing this link, got to know about Express Entry...
It seems good, but just got one doubt...

Those NOC (for e.f NOC 3142) which require Professional Test in Canada to acquire License to practice, seems could not be part of this express Entry system, as this system works with an approval from employer thru a job bank portal. No Employer can be sure that applicant's future success in Proficiency test.

Let me have your views ....

Me think you are very correct! Thats the part I am terming stringent! On research I found out Nocs for petroleum engineers and lecturers are not yet capped and have a long way to go! Should I start the application immediately? I just want to take my time and make the right descisions. :'(

Thanks for the link 3142, I now have a full grip of the system. I think its a good system cos I would not want to get to canada without a job; but with this system you are atleast sure of having a job and settling quickly! The only disadvantage is that you are at the mercy of empoloyers, wao, that will be tough 8)! Especially for those of us that do not have the canadian experience. Well lets be optimistic!
