Hey everyone.
So I just recently got PR, but I now know from that process that I need to do my homework and make sure I know what to expect. I know it's FAR too early to be considering Citizenship (and I feel bad mentioning it so early), but I must admit to a healthy curiosity in what lies ahead and securing the future of the little family my spouse and I have started :) (us two and a cat)

Apparently under the 3/5 rule, I'm able apply in ~2 years since I was an international student for 2 years prior to my PR.

-I basically want to know.. Is it similar to the PR application? as in: BGC, fingerprints, letters from family,
What's significantly different?
-Any advice you'd give someone who has quite some time to prepare for it?

It is a completely different process than PR at least for me, PR was way more in depth, Citizenship is basically, a done deal as long as you meet all the requirements, Legal Prohibitions (Keep you nose clean), Have enough days physically present in Canada, Pass the knowledge test and language test if required, File you Taxes if you are required to do so. I would say it is a lot less traumatic than a PR application..

good to hear. Hahaa. It was very traumatizing.
I intend to keep my nose clean. I got PR so even though I have no criminal history, I feel as though I've just been given a gold star for never having one.
