If reading and full comprehension of the English language is not a problem for you, then by all means you can do the immigration process on your own, and you can always seek assistance from members of this forum during the process.

Also, some people have done their applications by themselves and were successful; others have not been so successful because of several reasons that range from missing important deadline dates to not submitting the necessary and required documentation.

Moreover, if reading and full comprehension of English is a challenge for you, then you can always choose a lawyer as your representative. If you choose to hire a lawyer, your chances of missing deadline dates and not submitting the required documentation are very slim; or in fact, will never occur, except if you fail to submit something to your lawyer on time. And even if you think that some documentation might take a while for you to access, you can always ask your lawyer to file an extension request for you.

You can choose to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, or for a faster application process you can choose to apply under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Follow the link I provided above for an in-depth knowledge on both programs.

Why some immigrant people who live in Canada and get resident status and citizenship abandon Canada to go to The USA with a working american Visa?
There are some companies who are getting rich and deceiving people in order to get their money and those people to believe in inmigrate to others countries because their country is not good enough, as SouthAmerica, Uzbekistan, etc. I have heard some people who are choosing that easy way to emigrate. Those companies which operates from the USA and Canada just to deceit people have to be caught. The autorities should do something to stop that way!! Is Canada the easier way to go to The USA because American Visa es more difficult to get.? Is there any legislation to control that action.?

Good Information on interviewing. Like any job preparation, prior to the job interview you may want to look at revising or creating a new resume first. The resume is the first step to get a employer interested in your knowledge, skills and abilities before he/she even considers you for a interview. Regardless if a person is a local Canadian or a foreigner, standards of resume differ from North America and other parts of the world. For example, in part of middle east and India I have seen resumes that have personal information. In Canada this is a no no and should never be included. This is considered discrimination and resumes should only have professional information regarding work experience, education etc. So my suggestion would be to look at revising your resume first before you consider the interview.

In regards to the interview, this is also conducted differently in North America then many other part of the world. Other then reading useful , "how to" or "what not to do" information in books and internet searches, i would recommend seeking professional job preparation coaching or looking into on-line or in person coaching.
