Coming from Europe I find Canadian mobile and internet plans ridiculously expensive. They expect me to pay 2 - 3 times more for the same service. So at the end of the day I made a selection for a prepaid plan - 100 CAD for one year, as I do not use phone much and I am usually within the WiFi coverage.

Now my question - does any of the Canadian prepaid plans offer detail billing - so that I can see exact details about each call, text and the associated cost.

Right now I am with the Virgin mobile, but in the My account I can see the balance only.

LOL, welcome to Canada. Get a cheque book too, we're a little behind on technology here sometimes. ;)

I got a pre-paid plan when I first moved here 3.5 years ago, and back then there were no options for detailed billing. Not sure if that's changed though. If you find one please reply to let us know, because I know some people that might be interested.

That's an incredibly cheap pre-paid plan!!

Plans & billing options seem to vary from province to province (at least with Virgin). I'm on what's considered a no contract plan (converted from pre-paid) with them in QC, & I was able to sign up for "e-billing" through My Account. I rarely check it: I have unlimited texting, & track my calls directly on my phone.

Dear,
Great...
Pretty unusual for a developed country. I am planning to land soon.

This comes as a surprise. Usually prepaid sims are like this....

Question:
In Toronto area:
Good, Low cost - high speed net (modem/router) package.
Which is the best package of phone service with net, without contract. preferably billing.
Thanks in advance
