Hi All,

I'll be getting a TWP hopefully in the coming months -- waiting for my positive LMO. I'm planning to bring my wife and daughter. Surprisingly, we just found out that my wife is 8 weeks pregnant.

Will this have any effect in the decision of my TWP?

Thanks!

Hi,

First thing LMO process is so long these days that you can expect your baby to get delivered before your positive LMO.
and if we assume that you receive LMO in next 4-5 weeks after that you will be filing work permit which is another 15days, you landing in canada will be possible in almost 3 months from now.

As far my experience this will not have any substantial impact on your or your family visas, but it may impact the entry at immigration check at time of travel as some law restrict 6 months pregnant woman to travel by flights.

lets hope for best and you may stay confident regarding Visa permit issuance to your family but honestly this LMO process take much longer than the timeline posted on HRSDC canada website.

Cheers
