pregnant please help

hello i am 27 weeks preganant canadian citizen livin in alebrta but my famils are in BC and i want to give birth theret since i hv no one here but i dont know how the bc health care works do i have too applay for new card if i stay more than 3 month? Will my newborn baby get a bc health card when she is born even thoug im coming back two alberta please help thanku

If you stay in AB for at least 6 months per year, you keep your AB health and AB health will cover you while you are visiting relatives in BC. When your child is born, you should apply for an AB health card for him/her because your baby is your dependent and will be coming back to AB with you.
