Pregnant on Work Permit

Hi everybody,

Iam new to this website. A little story about my life. I live in Alberta since April 2011 and Iam working for the same company since Mai 2011. My actual work visa is good till Mai 2015. My PR application got. My boyfriend lives here since August 2007 and has his PR since April 2013. Now we are pregnant My question is, after giving birth, will my child be a canadien citizen? And does it change anything on my status? I am planning on going back to work after my maternity leave.

Your child will be a Canadian citizen. Your status will not be affected, for better or worse...

Thanks for your quick answer. Do you know maybe a website about this? So far I found only one website and on there it says the baby will not be canadien.
