I arrive here in ontario last april 30. i am also pregnant..luckily, i have my sister in law as my "employer"..right now, im on my 23 week of pregnancy..ang swerte ko to have encountered this forum kasi ang dami ko talagang tanong sa ngaun..by the way, kung tatanungin nyo..yes..buntis na ako nun dumating ako dito..after my medical exam in Pinas..i got impregnated agad..please dont get me wrong that this was planned..in a way yeah..kasi after 4 trials and miscarriage..im really looking forward in having this baby, swerte nga lang dito sya sa canada mapapanganak...ANYWAY..here's my question sa inyo..
1. makakapagclaim ba ako ng maternity benefit lets say for a given time lang..kasi ayoko macompromise yung 3900 hours ko para makapag apply ng PR..
2. when applying for the PR..do i have to declare yung baby na ipapanganak ko dito, kasama ng declaration of dependents ko sa pinas which is yung dad nya and my eldest kid?

yes makakapag claim at pwede mo naman i cut un anytime,inform mo lang ang service canada na nagwowork kana ulit para putulin n nila maternity leave mo..
i dedeclare mo na me anak ka dito pero hindi sya dependent n kasama sa processing dahil canadian citizen na sya,ung mga anak ko nun sinulat ko lang mga names nila,birthdate at birth place sa form pero sa processing wala akong ipinasa n documents nila,dahil hindi sila kasama sa processing ng pr ko..
