My husband has applied for my sponsorship. I am a U.K. citizen. However I wil be staying with him whilst the application has undergone. I am now pregnant, and would like to give birth in Canada. I also need my medical care in Canada I will be accepted for an open permit visa but does that include my care? What do we do as I tend to go to Canada in June. To stay with him and prepare for our baby.

Did you apply for PR using the outland process?
If so, you don't qualify for an open work permit based on spousal sponsorship through your husband.
Have you qualified for an open work permit through another means? And which province will you be living in once you arrive in Canada? It's possible you may not qualify for health care coverage until after you get PR.
To the best of my knowledge, you need to wait until your OWP is issued and then you need to get a job once the OWP is approved. You can then apply for OHIP coverage with a letter from your employer confirming that you have a job and are employed.

Unfortunately private insurance isn't an option. It can only be purchased before you are pregnant. Once you are pregnant, private insurance will not cover costs related to pregnancy.
If you cannot get OHIP coverage before the birth of your child, then the option you will be left with is to pay for the costs of the birth yourself (i.e. out of pocket).
When did you submit the PR application and how soon are you due?
Did you already apply for the sponsorship? In your post it sounds as if you would be coming to canada in June
I just want to confirm that there is NONE available once you are already pregnant. No private insurnace will cover someone already pregnanat for cost of child birth.
I am a bit confused as from your post if you are currently in Canada or in UK. If you are not in Canada, How can you apply inland!? Do you have a marriage certificate submitted with your application? (you seems to have question regardling to that before)
If you do not want to pay out of pocket for your child birth, may be return to UK when you can still travel.
If you planned to pay for child birth, you need to start to look for hospital and doctor that will take your case. Some/most hosptials will need pre-payment for non-insurnace covered child birth.
