Pregnant after receiving ITA

What will happen if the primary applicant is pregnant after receiving the ITA, before taking the medical reports? I read that the file will be put on hold when we inform them that we cant undergo the medical test because of pregnancy.
But how does this really work? When the file is on hold, will they provide an ITA again after the baby is born and once the formalities like babys passport etc are completed? If so, will the CRS scores be considered again?

As per my understanding if the required documents including medical reports are not submitted within 60 days after receiving ITA, the ITA will expire. In our case, the age of the primary applicant will go beyond 30 years after the baby's delivery, and hence the CRS scores will slightly come down.Hence i would like to know if i receive ITA and then inform about the pregnancy, will they evaluate my CRS points again and provide me a new ITA after the babys birth?

You give all the medicals (except X-ray) and submit your application as normal. The application will be put on hold until your X-ray exam is done. Once the baby is delivered, you can take the X-ray exam and then your medicals will be passed.

Some clinics also have the option to taking the X-ray exam with a protective shield. Taking this option is entirely up to you.

Are you referring to the CRS score? The CRS score is fixed on the date of the ITA, not the date on which you enter Canada.

I was referring to Crs score. My question is if my application is put on hold as I may not be able to undergo xray, will the crs be calculated again at a later point when the delivery is over and will they provide me a new ITA?

Arrey, why are you worrying so much . The ITA is invite to apply within 60 days. It doesn't have an "active/inactive" status.

You can make your first visit to Canada only once you have received your passport stamped with a visa. Average processing time is 6 months from date the application is complete. So within 6 months from taking your X-rays and medical status becoming passed, you should get your visa.

Once you have applied within 69days...your CRS is locked. There will be no change in your score. And your file will also not be on hold until the baby. CiC will process your file like normal...most checks will be done mormally...eligibility...criminality...security....as these have nothing to do with XRAY report. Once your file is at the finishing stage....you will be asked to provide medical again...this will only happen once your child is born off course.

But you never know...CIC could fast process your file and you could have your visa before your baby is born. In that case you will have the option of doing medicals when you land.

The medical will be valid for one year from the day of the original tests. After you give birth, the child will be added to the app; this generally takes a few months, as you need to gather the child's documents, submit everything and IRCC has to process it. At that point, your medical will likely be expired already. IRCC will then either extend it or request another one.

Okay..so to summarize, I can submit the application by providing them medical reports except Xray and I need to inform them that I am not undergoing Xray bcz of preganancy.Later, after the child birth, when I add the baby to the application, they may ask me to provide a new set of medical test results of mine because my already provided medical reports would have probably expired by then.In that case, my latest medical test date will be considered ignoring the previous test result date. Hope my understanding is right

Yes your understanding is right. The standard time for processing a file is 6months...however its now taking longer than 6months on average. So it is very likely that your old medicals will expire by the time you add your child and get youe visa. A new medical or extendes medical is the only way in that case.
But if you can provide an Xray...the kind done with a protective shield...your file will be processrd without any delay.
