Prediction on the CRS of the upcoming STEM and CEC draw

Hello experts
What are your expectations for the CRS of the upcoming STEM draw and for CEC? CEC is forgotten for the most time now and based on the last draw the Trade occupation had pretty low CRS score so i wonder if STEM would come to 450? What do you all think?

CEC is not going to happen this year and it was only a temporary thing. There's no CEC category announced. Canada needs people who are in-demand, doesn't matter whether they are within Canada or outside Canada - which reduces the chances for a CEC draw.

STEM could easily go down to 460. All of that is dependent upon frequency of the draws. If they hold STEM draw 3-4 months apart, CRS won't go down much.

Look at the last STEM draw:
July 5, 2023 STEM occupations (2023-1) 500 486

I'd imagine 1500 ITAs could take it to high 470s. Consistent STEM draws (2-4 back-to-back) and the fact that they'll be 20-30% of all ITAs issued could bring them down to 460s.

You can work in any job you wish to once you land. I hope you aren't abusing(or planning to) the STEM category just for an ITA where you faked docs to show a specific experience to get an ITA but never worked in this role/have no intentions of doing so.

I have filed EE under stem via CEC. Is it not eligible once the next STEM draw comes through? Also any idea on when can the next STEM draw take place?

You are eligible unless the systems says so. However, STEM eligibility is all about you meeting STEM category criteria. Lastly, we are all equally blind here when it comes to IRCC(unfortunately). They should have at least a few draws this year for STEM, but no one can say for sure.

You can go ahead and create EE profile, starting March 1st system should consider your 1 year experience point.

yes are eligible to create profile even you can get invitation. Minimum 6 months experience is required for STEM.

My score is 494 now and I got a job in STEM catogery on October 10, 2023 and will be completing 6 months full time on coming April 10th 2024. If IRCC send an invitation on mid of March am I eligible to receive an ITA on my 5th month ? What are the chances for it?

Hi there, what could be the next STEM cut off as per your prediction? I am at 483 and yet to find a job with a permit expiring in August. They havent done one since last December and the cut off for general draw seem to be coming down gradually as well.
