I recieved Medicals, Landing fees and few documentupdate request from London VO on 20th March 2012

One of my very good colleague and friend Bestpal (also prejune applicant) Visa office London, also recieved Medicals on 19th June 2012.

When we logout of E-CAS, it is asking for a survey & feedback on online services of CIC.

I urge you to complete the survey & put forward your suggestions for errors appearing in E-CAS.

I think this feedback link is added today only in E-CAS. I have already completed the survey.

u know what they mean at a point? If we sign up for automated service, they will send u updates of our case when there is any. So, thay are trying to ask not to use the E-CAS that often to avoid their traffic. I mean I did fill the same as well..

Agreed.
I think that are planning to start email notification service which is really good idea.

But guys I did point out improvement in E-CAS updates as they asked for suggestions to improve Online services of CIC in the end of Survey.

Also suggested solution by having a regional E-CAS which is updated by respective Visa Office. This will reduce time lag in updates & avoid E-CAS errors.

I checked with our consultant and he said that CIC has of course started processing files since sometime.

According to him they are presently processing cases of Full documentation sent in the months of June, July & Aug'10. Ours might come up in a month or two.

There is a very strange and shocking discussion doing rounds in CANADIAN Political circles

they are discussing a possibility blanket return of files without visa to applicants who are in the back log,there by effectively finishing the backlog through the back door

How successful they will be I dont know

Is it legally Possible dont know

Will applicants like us with processing date or In process be effected if this rule is cleared ?

there are parliamentarians against this rule too but will there will prevail is not certain

having an anxious time
