Dear All

I have sent updated documents on 17 march

They had never asked me about travel histroy ...I have sent voluntarily...
I had 17 visits in different countries.... all were just for recreation ( tourism)
I have visted UK, Thailand , France, Thailand, singapore, UAE, Malaysia, Saudia Arabia, Uzbekstan ( Tashkent), etc
(for 3-15 days max)
I had mentioned that


I just want to ask ....my travel history could delay my MR or further processing
OR it is good and it will not have any effect on further processing?

Yes it's true Kabayan, Manila VO is really "faster" compared to other. In fact, cases w/ January 2011 as their 2nd AORs already received either MRs or rejection in their ECAS. God Bless.

it will affect but not that much

it will delay process only 1-2 weaks

depends what sort of clear case is

i found this r the fundamental reason for rejection..

1. Job duties mismatch- very often v expect the VO to assume tht our designation itself declares our job duties and v submit an experience letter which does not mention job duties clearly.
it has happened to a friend in the forum.. who is a mining eng working in Govt. Sector. unfortunately all his docs are intact.. jst tht the job duties are not mentioned in the exerience letter. being in a govt. firm it gets absolutely difficult to gather a detailed job letter. even a small firm will not give a detailed job letter. in such case its best to chalk out your duties yourself and get the sign of your supervisor.. or else any senior and do keep the hr in the loop.. jst dont exaggerate..

2. points miscalculation - v very often miscalculate points... sometimes the educational credentials of spouse is not taken into consideration by the VO ... its because of the lack of proof.. its best to provide all .. i repeat all.. transcripts .. though this yr they hve not made transcripts mandatory.. but its best to provide..

3. Proof of employement - training certificates, slalary slips - if they are not there. ask for a consolidated salary slip for one year.. get the accounts dept sign it.. muster roll.. if the Amin dept lets u hve it.. leave card, lave certificates, mails which can b disclosed, appraisal letters... anyhting tht u think will make your case more solid..

4. proof of relatives.. your aunts sisters neice daughter is no blood relation.. so make the relation very clear.. and give substantial proof of their relation to you and their life in canada...

5. Providing extra docs,, like transcripts, pay slips -- for a lot of yrs, muster roll,, detials of spouse.. may not b needed.. but its not totally unwanted..
i
before filing.. jst sit back and think.. if the documents u provided for claiming 67 points make sense.. only then file..
as the wise say "prevention is better than cure"

Today I have recieved Medical Request, landing Fees and Few documents updates !

As you can see my timeline on my signature, we started processing on 27th Feb 2012 !

So those around, Keep your fingers crossed !

I need your advise on my current situation.

I applied for PR in April 2010. My company sent me to USA on work visa around April 2011.
Before coming to USA, I informed Canadian Embassy that I am going for a 3 months work related trip to USA and that my correspondence address will remains the same.
My stay in USA was extended to long term (Till Jan 2014) on request of client around July 2011. Since then I am in USA. I didn't informed Canadian Embassy about this extension in USA.

Issues for which I need your advise:
1) As per Canadian Embassy, I should be in India after July 2011. Is this a problem?
2) If any Medical request comes and I send medicals from USA. Will they questions my location?
3) If PP request comes then how I should manage sending PP to India.

I have seen lot of informed and good people in this forum who helps others like us with their useful advises.

You probably should inform them about address change and be prepared to submit FBI clearance certificate.
If you are going to stay in US till 2014, you can transfer your file to US VO. If you are in US, submitting passports to NDVO can be problematic.

Wait and see what senior members have to say.
