pre june case delayed.... due to my big mistake

I had submitted my updated documents in march 2012 ( IMM0008+ Sch. A, PCC, Updated photos all family)
I had sent email just to confirm whther they have receved my doc or not. they had replied me following

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you sending your documents. We are currently in the process of conducting background/ security checks for this application. This is a lengthy process that can take several months. We will be in contact when there have been further developments with the processing of the file.

I was not asked travel history ( I had travelled many countries only for 4-20 days only, creational purpose only). I had many members from this discussion forum, majority of senior members advices me to send travel history.I had done same.
I think that is main reason for delay of my application.they have mentioned it may take several months.that was a big mistake. Any member can predict how much time it may take for security check aproximately? and what should I do? should I order CAIPS notes at this stage.

Travel history probably wont cause any delays..... Relax.

The time for such procedures is unpredictable, many regualar applicants are waiting, some for months....anyways you shoukd not be blaming yourself, this will just add to your waiting pains...... Like I said! Relax and hope for the best.

You might have MR at doorstep,Relax yar its not a big deal

Aamir did you get the MR request or just the document updates ??
And also dont worry about "several months" cause they just write the same as per their defined TAT, but the things in actual move faster and hopefully you will get tp next step soon

Times are unpredictable. Some get it done under 1 month and some are pending since 7-8 months. No idea what goes on.

I have got only doc update request only ...NO MR that is why its unusuall,,,,, because in 99% cases security and back ground check is a major activity that begins after MR

Let C what happens NEXT....
