have you contacted London VO??? since AOR letter mentions that applicant can get in touch with VO if no further instructions are recieved within 8 months from AOR issuance...

Hi Haral

no point contacting VO...I received a reply from CHC NDVO against a reminder sent in June 2011 saying it will take 2 years or more to process the file as they have recd 425000 applications (between 2008 and 2010) and 144000 of these have not yet reached decision.

Their letter advises in bold letters "if you wish to withdraw your application, you may be eligible for a refund of your processing fees"---damn discouraging!

FYI- I received my 2nd file no on 30 june 2010 (a year ago), In process since march 2011 RBVO!

guess they should proceed to the next phase i.e. medicals in your case soon...u r already into the 2nd year of processing...i hope they increase the visa quota for 2012...that will help them process more files...

All,

I have been a keen follower of the pre June, 26 applicants thread....

Last week I send an enquiry email to London office just to get an update on my application which they received on 06/09/10 (but was a pre-june initial application----application was received at CIO on March 22, 20101).

Please see below for their response,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

Client Service Unit

.................................................................................

However, my status on the CIC website changed today from RBVO to In process ( clearly in contrast to what the reponse from the London office said).

I have decided to keep a deaf ear on any of their mails and just wait for actions from them. I think that is the best way forward.....

I believe that I am getting nearer and nerarer to the finishing line.

Good luck to everyone.

Also guys, I noticed that my address had disappeared on the CIC website when I logged in. Doesn't boarder me though.

What is the next expected line of action from the London office if status reads In process? Need some guidance please.

Thanks
