Pre-Arrival services

hi dear all,

My husband received pre-arrival services by email in his CIC portal. My husband’ file is processing in New Delhi, India.
I have applied for his sponsorship on 9th May, 2017. He did his medical in June 2017, so one month is left for his medical to get expired, I don’t know what is next, what are they doing
they requested for all his forms and police certificate in July 2017. We are waiting upto now.....
But he received the pre-arrival services in March 2018, but no news till now.
Does anyone have experience of the process, what is next .....
I am so stressed and worried.

Pre-arrival services means PA has passed eligibility, a good sign, and once final background checks is completed, PPR should be next.

In 2 weeks you will hit the 12 months processing time.......i think you have almost reached the finish line.....

Do you know how long the background/security check takes…
The medical will expire in a month and it says he doesn’t need an interview in his CIC portal account
Will my husband do another medical if we didn’t hear anything till June 2018
What is PPR

Only the VO could tell how long to complete background/security check and if a new medical will be required.

Why not send them as email to inquire about your application.

I have sent the New Delhi visa office an email and reminding them about my husband’s medical expiry on April 15th. But I didn’t mentioned about if he needs an interview and doing a re-medical...

Don’t you think sending emails to Visa office will delay or harm his case and sponsorship

If you had earlier sent an email on April 15th......i will advice you don't send another email for now.......wait until after 15th May, 2018.

You should never mention about if he needs an interview or redo medical exam......

Hi the IRCC Pre-Arrival Services letter encourages all immigrants who are still outside of Canada to enroll to these funded program. The agencies that delivers the pre-arrival services are also reporting to IRCC if the immigrant has accessed or enrolled to the pre-arrival program. So, I encourage to take advantage of it. IRCC has found out that immigrants who enrolled to pre-arrival has lessen the surprises in general (and are better prepared after arrival). I have been following these pre-arrival services and Settlement Online Pre-Arrival - SOPA is an indepth pre-arrival services because it has free online courses that helps you on your employment.

After three month i just received pre-arrival services letter i am in Pakistan .what dose this mean and after that how many day i will get receive passport request

My husband is from India and I starting the PR application for my husband Feb16 2018. I went to India for PR interview on November 3rd 2018. On nov,6th 2018 we had received the Pre Arrival services email and we were very excited t come back to Canada together. I waited 3 months and they have not asked for Passport yet so I came back to Canada without him and am still waiting for PPR. How long does it usually take and how long should I wait before sending in a inquiry?
