Hi Guys, I came under IP1 on 17th Oct, now I am not sure how long it'll take but looking at this this thread I'd like to know if you guys have any information on the cost of pre arrival programs like Can Prep?

Hey Guys, I just got PreArrival letter after more than 9 months of file submission. When should I expect PPR and DM?
Timeline below:
Submitted: 18th january 2018
Medical done: 5th April 2018
file transferred to LVO: 12th April 2018
Pre Arrival: 27th October 2018

I got my pre-arrival letter on Sept 29th, and now its been over 1 month.

I did however receive a letter stating that someone from my local IRCC would be reaching out to me, but I've heard nothing for over 3ish weeks. Any advice?

Just be patient..mind got the pre arrival june and after 4 months got ppr...

What does PPR stand for? lol sorry im new to all of this. I still havent received anything new. I got my landing invite, and then I was told that someone from my local IRCC was going to reach out to me. Havent heard anything

Just realized that PPR means passport request lol sorry about that!

Essentially I got an email saying that someone local would be reaching out to me, and that I would need to bring my passport with me. So, I assume that is the passport request. I've debated calling my local IRCC to see if there is any update but I don't want that to effect my application negatively.

Sure, my timeline goes as follows
I have been a student IN Canada for the past 2 years.
I got married april 2017 in Canada
I applied for PR last december
I was asked to give a background form in Feb
I was asked to give finger prints in Feb aswell
I was asked for a medical exam in June
I was sent my pre arrival letter late september
I was then emailed about meeting someone locally for PPR (within Canada) in early October.
Still have not heard anything thus far.

Hey there! Sorry I didn't see this before, I didn't have a chance to log into the forum until today.

From what we see with our clients, it varies a lot. Some get PPR about a week after getting the pre-arrival services *email*, and some have waited for months! I think the median would definitely be one month, and it also seems to vary depending on where they are coming from, some people in the Philippines and some people in Iran are facing very long delays, no idea why that is. In contrast, some clients from Pakistan, Ethiopia and Nepal got it within a week or so, so they only received our pre-arrival services for a few weeks before heading to Canada.

Hello, I’m from Saudi Arabia. I’ve searched a lot but couldn’t find anyone from Saudi Arabia who got their ppr in last 1-2 months. If you’re seeing this post please let me know how long does ppr usually takes for Saudi Arabia.
