Hello Guy(s) here is the update to share with you all. I received pre arrival letter on December 20th, and today Dec 28, I just received a email from Dakar for passport request. Good luck to us all.

I got passport request on 13th dec 2017 nd submitted my passport on 15th don’t know how long its gonna to get back my passport? Can anybody help me with the time limit?

From what I heard from others, it depends how fast the embassy would process the issuing of the visa. But in most cases, expect one to two months-I am not too sure of this, the time period -It could be less or more in anyone case. I am also in the same position like yours. I just sent my passport on the 29th of December 2017.

If you got the pre-arrival services email, you are getting COPR for sure. But sometimes it can take long. We know someone coming from the Philippines who waited about 6 weeks between the prearrival email and COPR.

If it has been more than, say, 2 months, I suggest sending a message through the online form for follow up of individual cases. If you don't know how to access it, let me know and I'll post it here.

I am a spousal sponsorship case.
I received my pre arrival services letter on 21st dec 2017. Since then there has been no contact by the London Visa office. Also, I am about to reach my one year deadline in about two weeks. What should I do? Do you guys know anyone who has waited this long after receiving the pre arrival letter. It is very confusing as most of the people get their PPR within a week or two.

I've heard of many people who have waited for even two or three months but none had London as their VO. Have you tried contacting them using the online form? I would contact them right away and let them know about the deadline.
