Hey my wife also received a re arrival emaL on Friday.
It means to get ready to arrive in Canada.

Did you check Ecas ? Your application should of been updated status “decision made”

That is not correct. The pre-arrival services letter simply means eligibility is passed (relationship is genuine). People can still be refused on Medical or criminality or security grounds. It does not always mean "get ready to arrive in Canada". Also, the pre-arrival services letter does not mean "decision made" at all. OP can still be a few months or several weeks away from that, so again it is incorrect to say the application should have been updated status "decision made".

my wife had her application status changed to "Decision made and background check" started on Thursday, 1 Feb
we also received that the "Pre-arrival letter" on Feb 2

You are right - I did not get a DM yet - still waiting in the background check, but it's nice to know that the pre arrival email means the eligibility has passed -and that they understand my relationship is genuine. I feel some relief but I can't wait for the PPR!

April 04- sponsor approved
May 10 - Application send to Singapore
June 11- Medical passed
June 15- requested interview ( the reason for the interview was because a family member send immigration a BAD email about my wife, she is fake,)
January 23 - Interview date
Feb 02 - Decision made
Feb 02 - background check in progress

if DM has been made, does that mean Background check is finished?
or background check is after DM?

Likely the bgc was done for awhile and they took awhile to update. I see alot here that bgc starts one day and ppr/dm comes the next day.

if you have the pre-arrival and decision made , the next step is to receive the ppr passport request.

I have received the mail and got a decision made as well .. What is the indication for that ?
