Dear Sonal213,

Is your Case File renewed? That is what I can decode from your write-up. I am April, 2006 applicant & I have not heard from CIC after receiving my AOR. I can still access my e-cas without Status indicated.

hi all,
as per my knowledge, there are approx 90,000 pre-2008 applicants and among them 3000 are considered lucky coz they got rid of rejection (rejection of 87.4s etc).
my ecas also shows that my file is in process.
i have asked for GCMS (which u can also apply through ATIP, U NEED to have a friend or relative over canada, who can apply on your behalf in order to know your file condition.) and from it i came to know that my file is selected and and my due date is June , 2014.
so, i want people to apply CAIPS or GCMS and know the condition/real status of the file and share over here so that what's going on with our file can be traced easily.

MY ECAS SHOWS IN PROCESS FROM THE BEGINNING of the time......my IELTS done few years back was considered, only thing is i need to do re-medical and, i guess , now my turn is to get MR from them.......
what's going on with your file, cud u pls share in detail..................

I just want to share something with regards to my
March 2005 FSW application. I am also a litigant...
I received the termination letter dated 24 May 2013
from CIC-Ottawa and instruction to reply within 60d
(24 July 2013)..I waited for sometime and finally
decided to complete the form and send back to CIC-
Ottawa since it's almost deadline...However, I lost/
misplaced that letter and can't find it..Instead, I
decided to use the online form in the CIC website last
15 July 2013.
However, today, I received a letter dated 12 July
2013 from CIC-Ottawa and before opening it I
thought it was the refund cheque. However, to my
surprise, this is the content of the letter:
File # BXXXXXXXXX
July 12, 2013
Dear XXXX
You have recently received a letter from Citizenship
and Immigration Canada dated May 24, 2013,
indicating that your Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
application for immigration to Canada had been
terminated.
This letter was sent to you in error.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion it may have
caused you. Your immigration application will
continue to be processed as per usual procedures.
Do not hesitate to contact us at (fee return email
address) if you have further questions.
Sincerely,
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Out of curiosity, I also checked my ECAS which I
could no longer access since 7 March 2013 right after
reading the letter.... and it's back...only thing the
status is blank...
I don't know if there is anything positive in this but I
am keeping my hopes alive....

see i'm also very new to all these things, so i want to gather as much info as we can , for this we, with the similar cases, need to share what's going with us .... so that we can make a conclusion............
have u ever applied for CAIPS or GCMS????

i think i've also read it somewhere. may b this file also seems to be renewed....
i want KIWI1 to share his further happenings so that what's going on with those alive 3000 files.....
the other thing, i need to notify all of u that my File no. got changed From Initial B to Initial E.............

U wrote it yourself that u need to do re-medical.

Sorry, it was "ninaimalaya" that is common with u, not natasha 963. Sorry. My bad. Both of u also had file number changed from B to E, this year....
