Anyone with a straightforward case also now way past the normal processing times?

If processing time is indeed counted from the day they get the application in their mail room (and it's actual days and not business days) then I'm now about 43 days in (and about 20 days past the processing time).

Still hoping it's just because of the holiday break...

Sent a renewal in which was confirmed as received on Dec 18th via courier. Marked it urgent and followed the instructions for urgent processing. Called them this past Monday to see where we are, the agent informed me they were still only opening envelopes from Late Nov/Early December. No status change or AOR on my application, so the 25 days they are currently quoting is not necessarily realistic at the moment.

Hi, Can anyone help with my question: I submitted my PR renew application and it was received on Jan 6th. However, I just realized that I FORGOT TO PUT MY NAME AND DOB at the back of the photo as required. Does anyone know whether my application will be rejected or delayed just because of this? I’m sure the photo meets the photo requirement. I need to travel on Feb 29th. Should I resubmit again now, or should I just wait. Thanks!

Hi everyone..I am planning to apply for my PR CARD renewal..do we need to do biometrics? I got my PR on July 4th 2015 and was well above 18 years when i got it. I am assuming biometrics is not required. Also anyone who has submitted their PR Renewal in 2020?

I have seen in this forum some people forget to add name/dob to photo, it does not reject/delay your application. So should be fine

You do not need biometrics for PR card renewal.
Although I payed the biometrics fees, I was issued refund.

Hi !! i have a question i need expert advice !!! Do we have to complete two years stay in Toronto to become eligible for renewal of my PR card !!!

Aaz2019 try the web form instead, I don't think they have enough manpower to have someone actually pick up your call, whereas via the web form you'll probably get an answer, they are very good at replying, I think.

I'm going to hold off a few more days because the web form I sent them, with the requested documents, was only a few days ago so if my previous messages with that document were for some reason ignored or did not reach them then it would've only been a few days since they've received the requested document, and I don't want to unnecessarily pester them. (But I am wondering, if not this then I'm at a loss as to why such a delay)
Hello,
is there any updates on your application? for me nothing new.

yeah, check the CIC website for details.

Well for me it's straightforward, or so I thought, I only want to change my name on it, and I've only been a pr two years all two of which I've been present here, as I've never left Canada.

I'm hoping it's just the holiday season or something but I think I'll give them a call soon.

Hello,
I just received an email from we form and I do not think there answer helpful as it seems for me it is a general answer. Below there answer;

Can anyone advice me about the PR Renewal Interview at the Local Office? What kinds of questions do they ask and do they make a decision right after the interview?
TIA.

I got email today that my application has been received on 20 dec 2019

That's good news! They started to work on Dec 20th applications now, or at least opened Dec 20th applications now.
The process time has been updated to 25 days now.
