Anyone whose application was received by the IRCC(CIC) on Oct 7th? Please let me know.

Mine was received on 5th, no acknoledgement yet

I just called the IRCC support Tonight; the automated message said they are currently processing Sep 26th, 2019 PR Card renewal applications; when I had called them on Oct 18th, they were processing Sep 11th, 2019 applicants. You can expect some acknowledgement from them by the end of the week

That's great to hear, congrats! They received yours on Oct 5th, if you add the current processing time average for PR Card renewals (23 days), it is today - the 28th! So, it seems they will send at least an acknowledgement by (23 +/- 2) days. They received mine on Oct 7th, hence, I could expect acknowledgement in the middle of the week. Please keep checking your status everyday; hopefully, if the documents are satisfactory, they would mail you the PR Card by the end of the week!

Hey could you tell me when your status changed to approved? Mine just turned into decision made today and am wondering when it'd display an official decision and mail the card. Thanks!

All I did was to create an account on CIC and linked the application, and then on October 29 I received the email: "Your application(Rnumbers) has been updated."

So I logged in to see the full detail and there is a section for final decision. it shows
October 28, 2019 Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

what is the current procedure now? does CIC mail the PR card back or we need to pick it up from local CIC office directly (there is a CIC office in my city).

The PR card is usually mailed, unless the CIC wants to interview you/ confirm that you are in fact in Canada now
