When My husband gets his PR how long will it take to get his Canadian passport once he gets his PR

You do t get a Canadian passport when you get a PR. You have to meet the requirements and apply for citizenship. He would need to meet a specific number of days in Canada to apply, about 3 year plus another year or so to process.

He can travel with his current passport

He needs t travel with current passport and PR card. PR does not give you Canadian citizenship.
