PR VISA ON OLD PASSPORT ALLOWED? URGENT!!

Can anyone please share their experience with regards to entering/landing in Canada with the PR Visa on an old passport!

My husband got the PR visa and after that with couple of days he renewed his passport. Can he enter Canada with the PR visa on the old passport?? Will there be an issue with the Permanent Residence Confirmation letters (CoPR) since they refer to the old Passport ??

Please help! Its urgent

do i need to show both expired passport with corp and new passport when i return to canada?

Yes, when you have a valid visa in an old passport, ALWAYS carry them together with an elastic band attaching last page of new one to 1st page of old one.
